T-34/76 - Russian Medium Tank
SGD 285.00# BKM2072 Developed in great secrecy, the T-34 was Russia’s answer to the growing military threat of Germany in the 1930s. Incorporating many new and innovative features, such as the Christie suspension system and sloping armor, its success was considered a gamble by the Communist Party bosses. While the Soviet Union already had a heavy tank series in production (KV series), the T-34 program was given the go ahead. Stalin’s rationale was that the designers could always be executed if the project failed. While not in full production when Hitler unleashed Operation Barbarossa against the Soviet Union, the appearance of the T-34 stunned the German High Command. Not only was the T-34 able to withstand almost anything the Germans could throw at it, but its 76mm gun could easily knock out both Panzer IIIs and IVs, then the heaviest tanks in the German arsenal. Kübelwagen - Dark Gray
SGD 112.50# BKM2081 The Kübelwagen was a light utility car deployed by Germany during World War II. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche, it shared many chassis components with the Volkswagen Beetle. The Kübelwagen could carry four fully-equipped soldiers on roads and overland due to its light weight body, reinforced suspension and a self-locking differential. Its air-cooled engine was reliable and easier to maintain in the field compared to Allied equivalents. More than 50,000 were manufactured during the war. The Kübelwagen kit was originally released in 2010 and was the first Brickmania kit to sell more than 1000 copies. For a limited time we're bringing back this classic kit in dark gray with the addition of a custom printed minifigure. M1A1 - 75mm Howitzer on M8 Carriage (Clamshell)
SGD 27.00# BKM2017-2 *Clamshell Packaging* Designed shortly after World War I to replace existing light artillery pieces, the M1 75mm "pack" howitzer was a small artillery piece that could be broken down and transported by pack horses or mules. Not mass produced until the outbreak of World War II, several design improvements were added in 1940, with the new gun designated the M1A1 on M8 Carriage (replacing the original wooden-wheeled gun carriage). The lightweight field gun was mainly used to equip US Army airborne artillery battalions, but was also adopted for use by the US Marine Corps for its campaigns in the Pacific. While not as powerful as the more widely used 105mm howitzers, its small size made it more versatile and easier to transport over rough terrain. Brickmania is pleased to introduce this M1A1 75mm Howitzer kit as part of its Campaign in the Pacific series of model kits.. Additional information about this Brickmania custom Lego® kit: Gun is posable with a full range of elevation Carriage and gun can be "broken down" for transport Can be towed behind any vehicle with a hook type hitch 1/35 scale matches other Brickmania models The over-all color scheme of this model is dark gray Includes 41 LEGO elements. P-51D "Red Tail" Mustang - American Fighter-Bomber 1/100 Scale Minikit
SGD 30.00# BKM713 The P-47 was the largest single-seat, single-engine fighter used in World War II. It was developed by Republic Aviation and was the first aircraft equipped with the powerful Pratt and Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp radial engine (later used in the Navy’s F6F Hellcat and F4U Corsair fighters). The Thunderbolt featured thick armor protection for the pilot and was heavily armed with eight .50 caliber Browning M2 machine guns and up to 2500 pounds of rockets or bombs. With the addition of external drop tanks, the P-47 was able to provide fighter escort to bomber formations deep into enemy occupied Europe. While the P-47 was a competent air-to-air fighter, it’s massive firepower and speed made it an ideal ground attack aircraft. It’s prowess for hunting tanks made it the scourge of German panzer forces in Europe, forcing them to stay hidden during daylight hours. Ground attack versions of the P-47 were delivered to the European Theater of Operations in time for the D-Day Invasions, for which all Allied aircraft were painted with characteristic black and white “invasion stripes.” More than 15,000 were built during World War II, making it a close rival of the P-51 Mustang for most widely used American fighter aircraft of the war. 10.5cm leFH 18 Light Field Howitzer
SGD 105.00# BKM2096 The LeFH 18 was the standard divisional field howitzer used by the Wehrmacht in WWII. In 1941 the original design was fitted with a muzzle break allowing for greater range, this model was known as the leFH 18M. In March 1942 a requirement was issued for a lighter howitzer. This led to a second modification, known as the leFH 18/40. This modification consisted of mounting the barrel of an leFH 18M on the carriage for a 7.5 cm PaK 40 antitank gun. The new carriage increased the rate of fire as well as making the howitzer lighter. Additionally, a more efficient muzzle brake was added, decreasing the recoil. With a 105mm (4.13 in) shell and a range of 10,675 m (11, 675 yards - over 6 miles) it was a powerful and versatile piece of artillery. P-40 Warhawk - US Army Air Force Edition
SGD 292.50# BKM2064A The P-40 Warhawk was a widely used American fighter aircraft of World War II designed and manufactured by the Curtiss-Wright corporation. Lend-Lease P-40s first saw service with British forces in North Africa, who dubbed the original version the Tomahawk and later improved variants the Kittyhawk. Designed primarily as a ground support aircraft, it was ruggedly built and performed well at low altitudes. It was a capable fighter in air-to-air combat, but not as nimble as many Axis fighters such as the Bf-109 and the A6M Zero. The Warhawk was used by Allied forces throughout the war and in all theaters of combat except northwestern Europe, where it was hampered by its poor high altitude performance. More than 13,700 P-40s of all types were manufactured during the war, making it the third most-produced American fighter aircraft (after the P-51 and P-47). Perhaps the most famous of all units to use the P-40 during the war was the 1st American Volunteer Group, who helped defend China against the invading Imperial Japanese Army before Pearl Harbor and official American involvement in World War II. Known as the Flying Tigers, the AVG famously painted the shark’s mouth design on all of their aircraft.
